This fall I am going to be the presenter for the Fall Study Weekend at University Lutheran Chapel in Minneapolis. My Topic is:
Bitter Herbs: Complaint, Evil and the Mind of God
The pastor at ULC, Rev. Dave Kind, is a classmate of mine from seminary and a dear friend. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to delve into a subject that has interested me for years. If you are able to make it, the event is:

10 a.m. Saturday through church Sunday morning

Finding out about this so late is my punishment for reading your blog so infrequently! I saw a sign about this at a campus church that I only rarely attend, and I wanted to find more information. I did not read the sign very thoroughly, but it looked like the event actually was in Milwaukee. I decided to see if I could find more information on when/where etc. Are you giving this talk more than once? Or must I trek out to Minneapolis to hear you speak?
I am doing this presentation as an all day retreat in Minneapolis next weekend. I am doing it again in Milwaukee as a 2 hour presentation on October 29 in the evening.
