Are you aware of the very powerful germicidal properties of silver? I have amazed my doctors more than once when I insisted on using colloidal silver instead of neo-sporin and got better results than the ointment. And drinking from a silver vessel is almost equally as good when it comes to preventing spread of organisms left on the lip of the chalice by the previous person. Especially given the practice of wiping and turning the chalice each time so any potential organisms have to survive that hostile environment for several minutes - quite long enough to do the job.
